The KLPT Community

Research shows that when you’re faced with health challenges, outcomes improve significantly when you have a strong social support network and community. We want you to feel welcome and supported by a community that lifts you up. We hope that wherever you are on your journey, you feel welcomed, supported and motivated not only in your own communities, but also in the KLPT community.

At KLPT, our intention is to be more than a physical therapy practice; we want to help you build a connection with a community of people who may be facing similar challenges.

Kristin established a community connection through her experience as a long-time volunteer for the Range of Motion Project (ROMP), a non-profit healthcare organization that provides prosthetic and orthotic care to the underserved in the U.S., Mexico, Guatemala and Ecuador.

KLPT also supports local community organizations in Chicago. We promote participation in organizations that work with adaptive mobility such as Adaptive Adventures, Chicago Blade Runners and Dare 2 Tri. If you have any questions, please send us a message and / or check out our resource pages!

In addition to welcoming you to our community at KLPT, we want to support you in finding ways to connect with a community that means the most to you.
